Easy Kayaks requires the following of its unsupervised kayaking participants:
Easy Kayaks fleet of sit on top kayaks are designed to be buoyant when on the water and will absorb most rocking motion without compromise; however, unforeseen circumstances may cause a kayak to capsize so all kayak rental participants are required to be able to swim and also to be able to rescue themselves in deep water should the kayak capsize.
Easy Kayaks require that all paddlers have previous paddling experience and/or have taken the quick paddling instruction from a representative of Easy Kayaks before entering the water. They should also be able to handle a kayak should water conditions change. Please note: Easy Kayaks may require you to provide a practical demonstration of your paddling and rescue skills prior to hiring and reserves the right to refuse rental clients and/or limit the areas in which rental clients can paddle.
Easy Kayaks require that paddlers understand weather and sea/river/lake conditions and the risks involved in kayaking activity.
Easy Kayaks require all paddlers to wear a Life Jacket – now commonly referred to as a Personal Flotation Device (PDF) – at all times while on the kayak.
Easy Kayaks requests that all equipment be returned in good condition and kayak rental clients report any problems or damage caused and/or any repairs needed.
The following fees may be charged on return of equipment, at the discretion of Easy Kayaks:
Repair or Replacement Fee to cover damage/loss of equipment.
Retrieval Fee in the event of a water breach to the kayak or lost paddle.
